Mixed Emotions as Prof. Msugh Kembe Laid to Rest Sister Sarah Nguhenen Tatarnya (Nee Kembe) - Photos

There were mixed emotions of tears and joy on Saturday, February 19, 2016 as the body of late Mrs Sarah Nguhenen Tatarnya (nee Kembe), the elder sister to the VC of Benue State University, Prof. Msugh Moses Kembe was committed to mother earth in Tatarnya's compound, Ikpa-Agure, Mbatierev, Gboko Local Government Area of Benue State. The wake-keep which was attended by people from all walk of life, both old and young, was used as an avenue to appraise her good virtues and also thanked God for her time on earth. 

Late Mama Sarah Tatarnya was born on the 10th October, 1960 to the family of Pa. Kembe Dzever and Mama Anem Kembe of Mbalagh Tombo in Buruku LGA, of Benue state. She was the first born of the family. She attended school of midwifery in 1988 and stated practicing her career at Queens Clinic, mama Joined BSU health services in 2000 where she worked until her death. Mama left behind her husband Pa. Samuel S. Tatarnya and 7 Children among which are; Mrs. Milicent Nguyila Yahweh JP, Mr. Bemgba, Mr. Mike, Mr. Andrew, Mrs. Sandra Nyibiam, Mrs. Tracy Hulugh and Mr. Kahan Abaya (Adopted). She also left behind her siblings.

In an emotion laden funeral oration by over 20 people whom mama had touched in one way or the other, the arena was filled with tears. Mama was paying fees for many childreen whose parents could not afford, she adopted some and was also looking after widows. Mama was kind to everyone that crosses her part, her soft spoken words will linger on, she will be missed because of her unwavering attributes, among which was her honesty and standing for the truth always no matter whose ox is goard.
