MandyGist Exclusive: Benue State University Lunched Campus FM Radio, 89.9 BSU Radio - Photos

Benue State University has achieved yet another height today. The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has granted licence to the univesity under the leadership of Prof. Angya, to  operate a FM radio station called '89.9 BSU Radio'.

The radio station will provide a platform to engage on issues of local, national and international importance for the school and state in general .
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony at the University today,  Thursday 22nd October, 2015,  BSU Vice Chancellor Professor Mrs Angya said the radio station will be  run by the students of a college ( Mass Communication Department). The students of Mass commission will now have a first hand experience in the job of radio broadcasting.
She urged the public the patronized the station and help it grow bigger and not die. 
The station wil serve the purpose of training professional radio personnel in the Mass Comm Department, with the aim of broadcasting educational programming. 
The inauguration was well attended by the school management, including the incoming VC Prof. Msugh Moses Kembe, who was also interviewed life on the newly lunched radio.
