Benue PDP and APC Gubernatorial Aspirants Met at Taraku For Late Pa Mathew Anyiku's Burial - Read What happened

'Peace and Unity' So ends the first stanza of our national anthem and that was the message from both candidates of the forth coming gubernatorial elections. More Pics after the cut...
The amiable Rt. Hon. Terhemen Tarzoor and the enigmatic Dr Samuel Ortom shook hands and exchange a few humorous remarks yesterday at the burial of a community leader at Taraku late Pa Mathew Anyiku Agu.
The hot and humid atmosphere was not enough to diminish the radiant coolness of the smile that resonated from both aspirants. The message was clear and loud. We must tow the path of peace, regardless of our political affiliations. To put in the simple and now popular pidgin saying "elections no be fight, politics no be war"
This is a clear message to all supporters out there. The gubernatorial candidates of the two major political parties are not enemies. They are both seeking a chance to drive Benue towards a great future. Supporters from all corners of the state are advised to follow suit. Stop the hate, defamation, destruction of campaign structures and embrace one another in peace and unity.

Speaking at the burial, Rt. Hon. Terhemen Tarzoor left the people of Gwer east with food for thought, read it here
